Meet ISA Certified Arborist, Lee Claxton
Born in Miami, raised in Pinellas County, a 4th generation native Floridian. I have always been more comfortable outdoors than in. A career in Arboriculture was a natural home for me professionally.
I am an entrepreneur, employer and home owner. A happy husband to a great woman and proud father to three daughters. I am absolutely grateful for the life I am blessed with today.
I started working with trees in 1989 as a Utility Arborist, from there I transitioned into the residential field. For 5 years, I worked under some of the regions premier Arborists of the day; Jean ‘The Flying Frenchman’ Marcoux, Guy Gantt, Hugh M. Westbury and Loren Westenberger, (namesake for the ISA Florida Chapter’s ‘Loren Westenberger Award’.) Most of them have passed on now but I use the knowledge and lessons that they bestowed on me daily; It is my enduring goal to pass that wisdom on to the next generation.
In 1995 I became an ISA Certified Arborist and started my own firm. Since then my team and I have helped thousands of Tampa Bay area homeowners and businesses with the pruning, planting, care and removal of tens of thousands of trees.
I presently hold the credentials of
ISA Certified Arborist
ISA’s Tree Risk Assessment Qualification
Pinellas County Licensed Landscape Maintenance technician
FDACS Limited Commercial fertilizer applicators license
Pinellas County Licensed Mangrove Trimmer
